The DDSY single-phase electric prepayment energy meter is a simple and user-friendly approach which is also sturdy and reliable. It utilizes modern microcontroller technology in combination with integrated cards for effective collecting and information recording. Its main advantages are: anti-tampering mechanism, anti –vandalism design, low consumption, high accuracy, overload ability and long service life. It has the ability to operate by prepayment, power cut-off limitations and bi-directional data transfer in conjunction with automatic alerts of active power cut-off switches and zero-balance status disconnection ensuring reliable and secure use of electricity. Each meter comes with an integrated card that is specific to that meter facilitating greater control and usability.

- A drying environment should encompass the meter installation location. Solid, fireproof, and shock-resistant walls are where the base plate of the meter should be fastened. Meter height: Approximately 1.8m.
- Connect wires in accordance with the circuit diagram; tighten up screws in wiring points; twist connecting plates firmly in the junction box.
- To determine actual electric energy, multiply the reading from the meter connected behind the transformer by the transformation ratio.
- Prior to buying electricity, an IC card must be inserted into the appropriate card slot on the right side of the meter so as to facilitate the transfer of data within the meter into the computer database represented by it.
- Insert the IC card in the IC card reader and writer before selling electricity, then at the same time, run the computer and encrypt into the IC card user code, pre-purchased electricity, capacity limit mode, and limited power.
- When the IC cards meter is valid, it will read data to the meter automatically, and the digital tube will show the remaining original power (3 seconds) and total power after stacking (12 seconds). Keep IC card in a safe place.
- When the meter is in use, the user can determine the remaining power by inserting a user card into it.
- During meter operation, the flashing display shows remaining power, and the over-capacity light warns that consumption is beyond capacity.
- The IC cards, which are of different users, cannot be swapped. One IC card equates to one unit of electricity consumed from one meter only.
- The power is turned off by the meter, and a warning is given when only 10% of the purchasing current remains. Once it is done, the cut-off indicator lights up.
- Where there is no remaining power, the meter can still be working, and the overdraft indicator light can be turned on.
