The single-phase wall-mounted IoT energy meter has been built to be a high-precision and low-power device that is capable of measuring AC Active energy within a frequency range of 50 – 60 Hz. It is equipped with advanced integrated circuits operations; microprocessors, non-volatile memory and LCD displays. Key functionalities include forward/reverse energy measurement, time-of-use metering, real-time data transmission, and prepaid energy management. It supports communication via RS485, NB-IoT, 4G, and more, allowing for remote control, meter reading, and management. The construction and design ensure reliability and tolerance to environmental factors comprising of backup lithium batteries to preserve stored data during outages, along with other various regulatory compliances.
